Hummingbirds of Love was inspired by a journey through Mexico, where hummingbirds crossed my path again and again during a time of new beginnings. In many cultures, the hummingbird symbolizes joy, freedom, endurance, and love, as well as resilience and the courage to defend one’s place in the world. The two birds in this piece are meant to offer hope and strength, and above all to stand as a symbol of friendship and moving forward together.
